Jaxon & James was launched in the spring of 2003 with one simple style: a classic black fashion beret. Made of a slightly heavier wool, the beret was warmer, lasted longer and miracle of miracles, less expensive than the berets we’d been seeing on the market the previous two decades. An immediate hit, it flew off the shelves of our Southern California stores and our brand was born.

From humble beginnings we swiftly expanded our range of hats and caps. With over 30 years of collective experience, we intuitively shifted our thoughts to our favourite styles - flat caps and newsboy caps. By fall our first full line was in, comprising a handsome range of flat cap - several of which are still in the line today - along with our first shipment of fedoras, trilbies and outback hats; all the classic, well-crafted and at very affordable prices.
